Q - Could you give me some information about the Couples Massage workshop?
These are introductory workshops aimed to teach participants basic massage skills for tension and pain relief. We have offered various versions of introductory workshop for over sixteen years. This particular workshop is intended for couples and is intended to teach basic massage techniques for fun, relaxation, and minor pain relief.
Q – Are these workshops private or in groups?
We typically offer private and group workshops.
Please note: Group classes run for two hours. Time passes very quickly and does not provide enough time for participants to exchange. One person will be practicing techniques and the other will be receiving. You will not both be able to practice on each other during this 2-hour class.
Private classes run for three hours, with both partners getting to practice. A two-hour version of the private class is also available.

You do not need to bring anything with you, other than water so that you can keep yourself hydrated –especially the person giving the massage. Linens, towels, and lotions will be provided for the purposes of the class and must be returned upon completion.
Q – What should I wear?
Dress comfortably. The partner giving the massage will need to move around freely; shorts, sweats, any workout clothes are great. Being comfortable is of essence. The person receiving massage will undress to the level of their comfort and lay on the massage table; this participant may find beneficial to wear to the workshop clothing that is easy to get off and on.

Q – Where will I undress? Is there privacy?
Dressing/undressing can be done in the classroom, the bathrooms, or in an adjoining room.
The partner receiving the massage will be undressed and covered with a sheet. The parts of the body that are being worked on will be exposed and covered again before practicing on another part. We can adjust draping to participants’ comfort levels, however, the class will not work if the massage recipient is fully clothed.
Commitment to Privacy: to protect our massage workshop participants privacy, there is absolutely no video recording, picture taking, or audio recording allowed on our premises.
